Tucked away behind the gas station you'll find Taqueria el Toluca! Theres a nice covered picnic area and plenty of space for parking, though don't expect much organization as there are no painted lines. Stepping out of my car, all you can smell is the delicious food being prepared. The menu is not overly complex and pretty affordable. My family got a quesadilla, torta, burrito & some tacos. The fajita is sooooo good, highly recommend. My only complaint was the tortillas for my tacos were a little too toasted around the edge. However, this was some of the best horchata I've ever had. It almost reminded me of Coquito. The Agua de Sandia was very refreshing and also very tasty! Service was very friendly and timely.

Happy to have found this lil place tucked in the corner. This was our first time trying it and we all really enjoyed the food. The flavor was on point and the sitting area was perfectly covered from the elements. The aguas frescas were deliciously refreshing. Very affordable too.

**Best Tacos in Katy** This place undoubtedly serves the best tacos in Katy, especially their fajita and Al pastor options. The flavors are exceptional, and the ingredients are always fresh. While I'm not a huge fan of their torta bread, everything else is spot on. The popularity of this spot is evident from the lines that form regularly, which speaks volumes about the quality of their food. However, it's surprising and a bit disappointing that they close on Taco Tuesday. It would make more sense to close on Wednesday instead. Despite this odd scheduling choice, the tacos here are worth the wait and keep me coming back for more.

We got a variety of tacos. The tripe tacos are the best I've ever had. The flavors and texture were perfect. One negative is that the asada was a little dry. Service was overall very quick even though they were pretty busy. They have plenty of seating next to the food truck and it has a tent to shade from the hot sun. Good amount of parking too. Will definitely be back and will try other things on their menu!

This place always hits the spot and never fails when everything else is closed. Although they used to have a Mexican burger that was amazing and I miss it. They expanded and you can eat there but we usually take home. Love the additional truck they added with the elotes, yum. Line is always super long but it moves fast.

Dedicating my first review of 2024 to Taqueria el Toluca! I can't tell you how much I love this place. I think about this place more often than I should. This was one of the places my friends and I found after a good climbing session at Momentum Katy. That post climb fuel is always important. And we came across Taqueria el Toluca. It's a true hidden gem, behind a gas station. No parking spots, but make it your own. Makeshift shed with telenovelas and bench seating. They even provide paper towels. The menu is simple. It's abundant. And cheap. They open late! You order at the first window, and pay at the second. Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas and Torta are DELICIOUS. Absolutely freaking delicious. They don't skimp out on the meat. It gets to the point of deciding how hungry you are or if you want to save your other half for the next day. Tough decisions. Even that next day reheat is so good. The green and red sauce so good, you want more. And let me tell you, this was Mexican boyfriend approved.

The staff is very welcoming and helpful as soon as you walk up. There menu is clear and easy to navigate. Lots of options but straight to the point as well. I ordered 4 tacos and some grilled onions. Food is Delicious. They have a large canopy area with tables to sit down. Oh almost forgot... the Salsas are both bomb! 1 is a bit spicier than the other but both loaded with flavor. Try this place!

Haven't eaten at many food trucks around Houston but this one was awesome! There's like 8 choices of meat on the menu along with other menu items like burgers and hot dogs. Got mine with fajita meat and it was great! Loved the raw and grilled onions. There's plenty of seating some plastic tables under canopies. Also had a few bites of a burrito and that was a bit salty but pretty good! Had plenty of cheese on it also...overall this spot was one I'll remember. It stayed busy the whole time we were there, always a long line to order but moved fast. They also had your food ready in no time. Easy to find, but I didn't catch any of the prices so not sure about that. Overall I would absolutely recommend

Taqueria El Toluca was a drive for us from Houston but it is very very good. It's a food truck in a truck parking lot. They have some picnic tables under the tent. The line can be very long, it is that good. Prices are very affordable and portions are ample. My favorite was the Papas Asada, a baked potato with so much flavor, the bacon on top gives it an extra crunch. Be sure to order the Elote from the little Elote truck on the right. It comes in a little cup, creamier style but very good.

Convenient and affordable taco truck! My friends were struggling to find a place open late, so we stumbled upon this taco truck. For 4 people, our total was under $30, and we had plenty of food for everyone. The tacos are decently sized; we each were pretty full from 3-4. The quesadilla was amazing and large enough to share. I loved both of their sauces, but the food was great without them too. The employees were very patient with us when we were combining our order. Since we did visit close to closing, they had little to no agua frescas left. They take Apple Pay and card, so payment was quick and hassle free. Our order was ready in just a couple of minutes and well packaged for our drive home.
